Devonta_ Phases of the moon_ Multi-Media Reflective Summary
ReplyDeleteHalf on the moon is constantly lit. Crescent moon is less than half and facing the hemisphere. When there is a new moon you will see none of the moon. The moon completes a rotation around the earth every twenty five and half days.
There is usually one full moon a month. Sometimes there two in the beginning and at the end of the month. But a blue moon only happens every two and a half years. The only month that doesn’t have a blue moon is February.
Sometimes the moon sun and earth all line up to form a lunar eclipse. Sometimes a new moon lines up with the sun and casts a shadow over earth turning it dark for almost an hour. That’s called a solar eclipse. That is what I learned today.
Homer Garcia Phases of the Moon Multi-Media Reflective Summary
ReplyDeleteI learn the different phases of the moon. The moon is important because we need it for are seasons. If we did not have the moon have summer, winter, fall, spring. We need are seasons to grow plants.
Are moon orbits around the earth in approximately 29.5 days. When a moon is full it is call blue moon. In January 1999 a blue moon happen 2 times in one in the same month that is something imposable to happen. This was not the fist time it happen. The fist time it happen was in April 1961.
Sometimes a full moon will line up directly with the earth and sun allowing it to pass through the shadow, when this happens the moon turns dark sometimes a coppery red color for as long as an hour or more this is referred to as a lunar eclipse.

ReplyDeletePhases of the moon
I learned that the phases of the moon are phases in which the moon rotate around the earth and lights or darkens more. One type of moon phase is the new moon, the new moon is when the hole moon is dark and you can’t see it, a full moon is when the whole moon is lit up and you se the whole thing, you can see a full moon every 29.5 days.
Some other types of moon phases are crescent moons, quarter moons, and gibbous. A crescent moon is when less than half of the moon is lit ten. A quarter moons are when half of the moon is lit ten. And a gibbous is when the moon is lit ten more than half the way.
Sometimes the moon will line up directly with the earth and sun. Allowing it to pass through the shadow of the earth. When this happens the moon turns dark, sometimes a coppery red color for as long as an hour or more. This is referred to as a lunar eclipse.
There are five basic phases
ReplyDeleteThere name new moon, crescent moon, quart moon, gibbous moon and full moon. And that is the monthly cycle. The blue completes one orbit of the earth in approximately 29.5 days.
Theirs a full moon each month.
The full moon and a blue moon in the 31 of both months. In the your other weight on other worlds you put you weight and then it shoes the weight on other worlds and there seven thin worlds and each has different weight.
Why doesn’t the moon fall down
The moon it dos fall down and it never heat but it so fast that you can’t see an so far away and it go the san direction ,an around the earth and the moon mover fall in the earth but it go around the earth and the other planet to .
i like yours valintine because it is well organized. What is it called when they all line up though. Overall your s is realy good. Good job!

ReplyDeletePHASES OF THE MOON MULTI-MEDIA REFECTIVE SUMMARY
I LEARED THAT THE MOON CAN FALL DOWN, THE GRAVITY PULL IT DOWN AROUND TO THE CENTER TO EARTH AND IT GO SO FAST. I ASLO LEAREDTHAT IF IT FALL THE MOON WILL GO OUT IN SPACE AND IT DOSE NOT HIT THE EARTH IF THE GRAVITY IS PULLING IT WHILE GOING SO FAST IT WILL HIT THE EARTH.
ON THE PHASE ON THE MOON I LEARED THAT ON THE NEW MOON NONE OF THE MOON IS VISIBE AND ON THE CRESENT MOON IS LEES THAN HALF OF THE EARTH FACING HEMISPHERE OF THE MOON IS VISIBLE.
ON THE WEIGHT ON OTHER WORLDS I LEARED IS THAT MY WEIGHT IS DIFFERENT ON OTHER PLANET LIKE MERCURY MY WEIGHT IS 63.5 AND ON VENUS MY WEIGHT IS 152.3 ON THE MOON IS 27.8 AND ON MARS IT IS 63.3,JUPITER WEIGHT IS 397.1 ,SATURN 178.7, URANUS WEIGHT IS 149.3 , NEPTUNE IS 189,PLUTO WEIGHT IS 11.2.
were did u got that imformation at devonta

ReplyDeletePhases of the moon multi-media reflective summary
in the first video I saw, they told us why the moon does not fall straight to the earth. They explained that the moon actually does fall. Because of the gravity but it falls around the earth instead of going towards it. They said that the moon really does get closer but it never goes down to earth.
The second thing I saw. It was just information on how the moon works and how eclipses happen. They also explained how in January 1999 there were two blue moons in the beginning of the month and at the end of the month.
The third thing I saw was about are weight and how it would be different on different planets. Also how on many planets the gravity is lower than others and you may weight less. On the sun you can weight up too 1000 pounds or more. On the white dwarf your weight can be 149500000 or more. On a neutron star your weight can be 16100000000000 or more!!!!!!!!!!!
i dont think that you need the phases of the moon to make the seasons. to homer
ReplyDeletehomero i like your cause it organized and the moon phases an the seasons are imporant
ReplyDeletei agree with homer because i read the same information as he did
ReplyDeleteat devonta; jenkis because it is well organized.what is it calld when all line up though .overall your's is realy good .good job!

ReplyDeleteJordan _ Phases on the Moon_ Multi Media Reflective Summary
ReplyDeleteI learned that as the moon circles the Earth, the shape of the moon appears to change. The shape varies from a full moon when the Earth is between the sun and the moon. To a new moon when the moon is between the sun and the Earth. An I also learned how much I weight in outer space. I also learned that the moon doesn’t fall because its in orbit all the time. The Moon Earth's natural satellite seems to hover in the sky, I didn’t know that not affected by gravity. But the reason the Moon stays in orbit is because of gravity force that attracts objects.
